Admission Procedure/Rules of Admission:
Admission to B.Ed Course in College of Education other than Govt. College of Education, in and Offsite Campuses of the University of Jammu shall be open to those Candidates who have passed Bachelor Degree Examination with 50% Aggregate marks for General Category and 45% marks for the reserved categories of SC/SCT and others as per Rules of the State Govt, in the faculties of Arts, Sciences, Social Sciences, Commerce or Faculty of Music and Fine Arts conducted by the University of Jammu on an examination of any other University recognized as equivalent there to or Bachelors Degree examination of 4 Years duration in the recognized University
a) A person, so long as He/She is a Student of B.Ed Course, shall not be eligible to attend any other Course of Instruction or appear in any other examination of the University
b) The Candidate who has done his/her Bachelor Degree with two subjects are not eligible for B.Ed Admission. The candidate must have passed Bachelor Degree Examination with atleast four subjects provided n any Stream i.e B.Sc, B.Com & BA for B.Ed Course provided that a candidate who has been placed under R-Appear category in one Course/Paper of an examination other than the qualifying examination, or was schedules to appear in the Examination.
