The Chenab College of Education is one of the leading institutes dedicated to Teacher Education for over two decades. The college was established in the year 1999 under the aegis of Chenab Education Trust. The College recognized by the Govt. of J&K and is affiliated to the University of Jammu. The College building is surrounded by lush green lawns and beautiful plantation of both decorative and fruit trees which further add to the ambience of the College campus. The Chenab College of Education is an ISO Certified and NAAC Accredited Organization. The dedicated Management of the College is full of enthusiastic zeal and is committed to carry forward its vision & mission.

Ever since its inception, the College has been striving hard to provide quality education to its learners by providing them with varied classroom & field experiences-updating their knowledge, skills and competences to enable them to meet the future challenges in the field. The College is committed to provides ample opportunities of learning and field exposure to the students to have first hand experience of various nuances of the field of Teacher Education. Besides academics, the students are encouraged to participate in various co-curricular and extra curricular activities to ensure wholistic development of their personality.

It is pertinent to mention that the Chenab College of Education besides, having an effective management has a team of well qualified, dedicated, enthusiastic teaching faculty, and well equipped infrastructure like spacious class rooms, library, laboratory, computer room, separate common rooms for boys and girls, well furnished auditorium, audio–visual aids room, separate hostel facilities for girls with lush green lawns and adequate non- teaching staff members also.
