The Chenab College of Education is one of the leading institutes imparting Teacher Education for more than two decades now and was established in the year 1999 under the aegis of ‘Chenab Education Trust’. The College is recognized by the Govt. of J&K and is affiliated to the University of Jammu. The State-of the Art Infrastructure and beautiful campus with lush green lawns and beautiful plantation of both decorative and fruit trees which further add to the ambience of the College. With a clear vision and mission, the College is committed to provide quality education under the dynamic leadership of the dedicated and enthusiastic management of the college. The Chenab College of Education is an ISO certified and NAAC Accredited Organization and ever since its inception, it has been striving hard to provide quality education to its learners by providing them with varied classroom & field experiences.

Besides, thirst on active adoption of technology in the teaching-learning process, rigorous exposure to the field is also provided to the learners/trainees to enrich their knowledge, skills and competences so as to enable them to meet the future challenges in the field. The College is committed to provide ample opportunities of learning and field exposure to the students to have firsthand experience of various nuances of the field of Teacher Education. Besides academics, the students are encouraged to participate in various co-curricular and extracurricular activities to ensure holistic development of their personality.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Chenab College of Education besides, having an effective management, has a team of well qualified and dedicated teaching faculty, and well equipped infrastructure like spacious class rooms, well staked automated library, well equipped curriculum labs such as computer lab, psychological labs, science lab, mathematics lab etc., common rooms for boys and girls, well furnished auditorium, audio-visual aids room, separate hostel facilities for girls with lush green lawns and adequate non-teaching staff members also.
